I don't know how to follow except by adding a comment so I guess here it is.

Thank you Mike. I just started cracking at it, dry fitted the 2 saucer halves together, and the bridge + lower domes. The fit is not perfect, I small gabs to deal with, and the saucer needs sanding down I places to get the 2 halves to flush up perfectly. Other then that, no sink holes anywhere, no flash to speak of, and the fit is excellent considering it is a "snap" kit. Should go together perty good, so far...

I haven't even unboxed mine, except for stashing all the different decals, photoetch, and resin upgrades bought for the kit. Looked at the photos in your other album and makes you wonder if the kit molders are getting some sort of kickback or something from putty makers. Steady as she goes!

Lol! Ya, I think so😉. The decals look amazing for this one, not cartograph, but that other company that competition to them. Reading build reviews, same issues as i'm seeing, and the decals are a little thick, but still excellent. And maybe thicker is better when dealing with individual pieces this big. They scare me a bit. I've built a few models in the past, but always stopping short of doing decals. This is going to be my first "real" try at decaling myself. Like you say, "Steady as she goes!".
