Started the Eduard Reichsverteidigung BF 109G-6/R6. This appears to be the latest and greatest Eduard 109G-6 kit with some new marking schemes. Also included is a FW-190A-8/R2, the same as the recently released Profipack kit with different markings. Cartograf decals. I'm going to take on yellow 9 from 9./ JG 54 - no associated pilot but I really like the marking scheme. Just finished the office.

Finished this Eduard G6 -- a really nice kit. No major hiccups during the build. I used Mission Models paints and am happy with the result. Cartograf decals went on very nicely. The plane was made in the Mtt Regensburg factory and exhibits the sweeping mottle bands on the fuselage sides. I've been avoiding dipping the canopy in acrylic gloss but tried it for this build and agree with the general consensus that it looks better. Gotta love the JG 54 marking schemes. Thanks for looking.
