Doug Eby1/35, 1/32, I really don't care. I'm not planning any dioramas, I just want a well-engineered, detailed model kit without any major flaws. The biggest downside I see is that accessories like decals can't be used between the scales, but that's not enough to keep me from buying one. I'm in.

Trez MackenzieGood point on decals but hopefully a kit like this will have many schemes. Some crew released by Border would be welcome along with maybe some Schwarzmänner. The good thing is you can use small vehicles as a secondary model but I might not be for using a truck as that is a kit unto itself but who knows? Certainly a car or motorbike would be great

Stephen GI'm very sceptical Trumpeter will be able to match the Takom/Meng kits, let alone improve on them. I guess if you're desperate to make an -A version...

Van LeeProbably not. But it looks like it is going to be a lot less money also, in the mid 50s money. So if you are wanting a new mold Apache to replace the old Revell mold or Kangnam mold but don't want to pay Meng/Takom prices, this would probably be a welcome addition. Most people seem pretty positive towards Trumpeter aircraft.

JohnI just feel that we are extremely fortunate to have the luxury of modeling and even to disagree about it, unlike the people on both sides who are being killed and maimed for real. Rarely do you find those responsible for starting a conflict in the path of flying metal.
