Israel Air Force IAI 1142N Seascan
using Aurora Aero jet commander and Leoman Seascan

I wanted to build a model of this kit for a while now but the only kits available were the vac form Bro Plan kits. The Leoman kit of the Seascan was bought at auction on ebay. the kits itself was quiet brittle. I am lucky I was able to work with some of the pieces which include:
- engines
- hard points and what appear to be mines as described in the specification that the model box top gives
- landing gear and gear doors
- Radar nose and associated aerials
- wingtip tanks

The rest of the model is used to transfer details onto the model.

Auroras Aero Jet Commander is a nice little kit. modifications needed:
- filling in all the passenger windows and cutting out new ones
- sanding down the original engine ports straight to the tail end
- adding an extra extension to the tail blending onto the fuselage
- filing off the sharp nose to blend in the Radar
- scribe new entrance door and further details to wings,
- manufacture 2 new bubble windows out of spare clear packaging and forming with the end of a paint brush
- manufacture other aerials
