Bandai R2-D2 Gift

The goal of this build was to recreate R2 from around episode 4 while on the Death Star.

It is not 100% screen accurate. Specifically depending on the shots the following errors exist:
1. Legs aren't on backwards
2. Back panel is white and not gray

This is my 2nd kit coming back into the hobby after about 10 years away.

I had some struggles with some of the smaller areas in painting and forgot to paint a panel on his dome. I also tried to clean the seam line on the dome but started sanding it away too soon so the putty didn't take.

Minor issues aside I am still pleased with how it came out. My wife enjoys it and it makes a great display piece.
