simply a feast for the eyes what you conjure up, everything is just right, the burnt tire is so convincing from the design alone that the question arises, really "only" a model ..., breathtaking 👍
28 November 2022, 15:22

Thank you mates! - Thomas, a still burning fire would be an eyecatcher, but excedes my modelling skills by far. - Raditz, thank you for the many kind likes!
30 November 2022, 09:07

@ Neuling: I challenged myself to take the risk to build two T-26 tanks that are burning on the scène... Have no idea where this will take me🤞😁 but hey... It's worth the try...
30 November 2022, 16:33

Another masterpiece from Master Neuling who keeps reporting on lifelike stories!
30 November 2022, 17:19

Another acutely well observed scene, perfectly executed 🙂 Very dramatic story - so lucky the fuel tank didn't explode! Many thanks for sharing your palette of colours, and the many materials that add the realistic subtleties.
1 December 2022, 07:52

Love it! Very realistic, as a Volunteer Firefighter I can even smell it 🙂
2 December 2022, 11:18

Thank you mates, much appreciated! - Mathias, looking forward to your burning tanks, it´s a real challenge! - Bruce, the fire brigade arrived just in time to avoid a fuel fire (thus saving my diorama). - Peerke, it´s an honour for me to hear an active firefighter say that my diorama looks realistic.
4 December 2022, 06:46

Very nice subject - and as always expertly executed and displayed. Love it.
4 December 2022, 11:35

My favorite topic is WW2 but your dioramas are truly amazing!
4 December 2022, 15:44

Brilliant modelling Neuling!…great photos…looks real life…congrats!
15 December 2022, 11:26

Ohh, another fantastic dio from you!
Great to see a scene with variety.
You did a good job on the burnt part and the picture could really have come from reality.
What can I say other than: 👍👍👍
16 December 2022, 12:36

Somehow I missed this album. Well done scene 👍. I may use it for guidence how to weather my Mariupol fire truck 😉
13 January 2023, 00:20

Thank you Rui, I´m watching your fire engine in Mariupol with great interest!
15 January 2023, 10:42

This is when the line between reality and modelling becomes blurred. The posing and the scene is so realistic, you can almost smell the smoke! Superb.
11 April 2023, 09:32

I can only repeat myself again. Great idea, something completely different. great implemented and rich in detail. TOP. 👍👍👍

I have a bunch of resin kits from the 1970s that were made by various guys in Czechoslovakia. They were not commercial items but mainly just available through trades. There were no brand names but the kits were loosely collectively known as Czech-master, even though actually made by different people.
What brand should these be entered under? There is really no connection to the later CMK (Czech Master Kits). Should I create a new brand, e.g. "Czech-master (Historical)"?

Hope I can make it interesting to follow.
The kit doesn't seem very complicated and the Eduard photo etch is mild level. Just the open doors are a new thing for me. They might cause problems when painting and building modules together.
1 20 December 2024, 11:12

I think this project will pick up pace now when I have finished Schleswig-holstein. This is the first ship I build with waterline option and it was very hard to fix the hull seam. I did several cycles of filling, sanding and priming and still it is very visible.
23 February, 09:06

Thanks Villiers! My daughter asked me today if I had only built two ships and one small plane after working such a long time. She looked incredulous when I told her that was actually the case🙂
2 23 February, 20:57

The notorious "pocket battleship" Graf Spee! Taking a seat for this one!
1 27 February, 20:14

Very nice clean lines on the hull. My respect working with the small and delicate photo etch assemblies.
4 April, 19:00

Thanks Villiers! The PE isn't very complicated on this kit but I do feel I have made improvements since my last ship.

46 3 November 2024, 21:15

Nice progress so far! Overall nice paintjob, but maybe try to use a little less paint on the railings. I see a lot of small paint balls forming there.
11 November 2024, 19:49

Thanks for your interest and comments. I did something wrong with the primer when painting the railings which caused the paint balls. Also I'm not great at working with PE yet and the glue residue is often visible even if try to paint over it. All in all I still think I'm making some improvements compared to my last build. Rigging will be my greatest challenge for this build.
11 November 2024, 20:41

Ah, ok! Well yes, your glue is visible here an there, but otherwise I find your application of PE is not bad at all! What works for me with railings is to hold them in place with one hand (and tweezers) and with the other hand apply a tiny amount of very thin super glue from a piece of thin copper wire fixed to a toothpick as handle. This will instantly wick into the gap and also instantly fix the railing in place. After that I paint over the seam with the appropriate colour and mostly end up with very nice glue joints.
12 November 2024, 05:43

That is probably the correct way to do it Ingmar. I find it difficult to only use the thin super glue as it has zero adhesive effect until it bonds. I use super glue gel to fix one end of the railing and then use your method for the rest.
12 November 2024, 08:55

I'm testing a grey-brown panel liner instead of the black one I used for all of my last ship. It looks good closeup but might be to subtle when you look at the whole ship. Is it a bad idea to use anything else than black panel liner even on lighter colours when doing 1:350 scale?
12 November 2024, 09:24

Actually super glue should set / cure / stick faster the thinner it is. A gel does lengthen the setting time. I start at one side, place the railing, put a tiny bit of thin super glue at the joint and it will typically set withing 2-3 seconds. Then I move a bit further down, align the PE, put glue there and so on. What also increases the setting time is a larger gap. If the gap ist very small and the glue very thin it will usually literally set instantly.
I like my wash with a lot of contrast. On my modern US Navy builds (kind of a medium gray) I will use blue-black panel line wash from AMIG. On a lighter gray, as with the superstructure on DKM units, that might be a bit to much contrast though.
12 November 2024, 09:47

I will try to master the thin super glue but I think the sticky property of the gel before it cures is very helpful. I can still use gel when gluing where it will not be visible at all.
Another thing I have done differently with this build is to just base paint the details and railings before I attach them to the superstructure and hulI. I will gloss coat, weather, matt coat and oil highlight the superstructure mostly built together but excluding the masts and funnels. I will do the same thing with the hull with everything added except main guns.
I noticed the super glue attacks the paint much more than when everything was already gloss and matt coated before gluing but maybe the end result will be better.
12 November 2024, 16:28

Strange. I never have noticed my glue attacking or damaging the painted surfaces. Usually, I build my ships in sections which get painted separately before final assembly. Also, I always airbrush my railing before gluing it to the model. There will be scratches from tweezers, but for me it is much easier to make some touch-ups than to brush paint the whole railing on the ship.
12 November 2024, 18:39

Could the glue react differently because I use Mr Hobby Lacquer paint this time and Tamiya Acrylic paint for my last build?
13 November 2024, 17:33

Hm, I don't know. I basically never use lacquer paint. I only work with acrylic colors - for the normal painting stage. The only 'reaction' I see is that the glue makes a matte surface glossy and therefore changes the shade of the color a bit.
13 November 2024, 20:11

Ship is done except rigging. I don't know if I have the skill to do rigging but I will try. Is it really safe to spray super glue acellerator/activator over the model when doing rigging?
31 January, 18:21

Nice result! Regarding acellerator: I guess it depends on the type of colors you used. In general I would be careful! On the other hand, why use acellerator at all? For me just using very thin super glue works fine without activator. The thinner the glue and the less you use, the faster it will set / cure. If you want to use activator, dont spray it on, but rather brush on the surface, where you need it. You can apply a tiny amount where you want to glue your rigging - before you apply the glue.
1 1 February, 13:25

Thanks Ingmar! I did a single line of rigging on a Spitfire I built recently. I found the first point easy to attach but the second hard and had to redo it several times. I think accelerator could help but I will apply it the careful way you suggest.
1 February, 14:27

Love with what you've done in terms of build details and weathering! Waiting to see the finished product!
1 February, 14:46

Thanks for your kind words CaptGPF and Rui! I'm going to try take some better pictures before I risk destroying it by doing rigging.
1 February, 15:13

I'm sure you'l make a perfect eye catcher model after the rigging 👍 Looking forward.
1 February, 15:23

Thanks for the encouragement. Rigging scares me but I don't think I can be a serious ship builder without it.
1 February, 15:30

Rigging is going better than I thought so far.
Glue leaves gloss stains. Should I brush paint matt varnish over stains? I read that spraying rigging with varnish is a bad as it makes the lines go slack.
1 2 February, 11:45

Very nice work so far.
Incidentally, if you go to 'Manage' and the 'Advanced options' you can change the orientation of your photos.
2 February, 11:46

Rigging is done. I could say the ship is finished, but I think I will add crew.
6 February, 19:27

Thanks Jan! I will try to make some better pictures without my working table clutter.
1 6 February, 19:35

Thanks Matti! I'm not entirely satisfied with the result but considering I recently thought I couldn't do it I should be happy.
7 February, 11:24

I have started experimenting with paiting the crew. I think I have made them too dark but need to place them on the ship to decide better.
1 9 February, 09:23

I've recently tried to paint 1/144 crew members for my submarine models, and found this to be near impossible to get right... Now I see you paint these micro figures, which look great 👍🏻
9 February, 12:44

Thanks Jan! I'm trying to do an easy painting scheme without too much detail as I need a lot of sailors. I start with a zenithal priming and apply base colours as glazes to keep some contrast. I still think the figures need a wash to make.them look more natural but the brown wash I used made them very dark.
1 9 February, 13:09

I think you did a good job on the rigging! Some of the black beads look a bit out of scale to me and in some areas I would expect sharp bends of the rigging, where you have gentle curves, but overall this looks very good!
9 February, 13:47

Thanks Ingmar! I have also identified the two things you mentioned. A third problem is that I made a mess in some places where the line ends on the railing or other deck structures. I will try to do better on Graf Spee which I am currently working on.
1 9 February, 14:53

Well, it is certainly a daunting task and practice is needed. You are on the right path and I'm certain, that your next try will turn out even better! Overall this turns out to be a very fine model!
1 10 February, 08:46

Schleswig-Holstein is comlete! A very fun and sometimes challenging build. I can recommend this kit and the Eduard photo etch for anyone who wants a not too difficult project to improve their shipbuilding skills.
1 24 February, 10:52

Fantastic build! I don't think there are enough photos to show off all the details and PE work you put into it!
24 February, 15:14

I'm happy you like it Stefan🙂 I find weathering the hardest to get right as there is no real instruction to follow.

Thanks both for the kind words... It's a little kit, with some problems (the moulds show their age in several spots), but with some effort it can be transformed in to a Dinah. Cheers!!
2 February 2017, 09:14

What happens if a conversion kit changes the kit being converted from one topic to another topic? Which topic should the conversion kit be entered under? Both? But it is not a multi item ...
For example, I have somewhere a landing craft conversion kit which changes an LCM(3) to an LCM(6), which are separate topics.

That's great work on this kit. I was gifted one last year and built it pretty much straight from the box. Your additions really take it to the next level.

Items entered under brand DIO72 are in fact from brand Reality in Scale, and duplicate items listed under that brand. They should be merged.

I changed the branding to Reality in Scale for all the items concerned. But now there are a few duplicate items under slightly different kit numbers, e.g. DIO72-019 - which is the more correct one - and 72019.
Presumably only admin can remove items?

As I understand, DIO72 is a brand, Reality in Scale is a manufacturer and a brand.

Hello Mates, I am currently building the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) from Tamiya in 1/350. For better detailing I use etched parts from Eduard. Here are the first pictures.
13 February 2021, 09:34

Thank you for your interest gentlemen. In the meantime I've added a few more PE parts.
27 February 2021, 23:56

Here are a few more photos (including before/after pictures) of the construction progress of the USS Enterprise. Eduard did a great job, but I don't use all of the photo-etched parts.
9 April 2021, 20:33

USS Enterprise CVN-65 - Carrier Vessel Nuclear - mein absoluter Favorit !
10 April 2021, 09:00

The construction progress on the Enterprise continues slowly but steadily. I need a lot of time to tape the flight deck. The fuselage is completely painted except for the weathering.
21 May 2021, 22:01

23 May 2021, 07:49

23 May 2021, 08:13

23 May 2021, 15:52

24 May 2021, 07:29

1 Meter muss man erst mal rangieren, verständlich. 😉
24 May 2021, 18:44

24 May 2021, 22:57

Hello mates, here you can see the result of hours of masking and painting work. The flight deck of the Enterprise has not yet been weathered or assembled.
9 June 2021, 16:17

Crazy work on masking. but it is certainly paying off! looking quite good already.
9 June 2021, 16:51

Vielleicht sollten wir gleich Tamiya aufkaufen 😉
Jedenfalls tolle Fortschritte, besonders beim Flugdeck 👍
10 June 2021, 07:17

Here is a small update of the work in progress. The weathering of the hull is almost complete.
31 July 2021, 13:55

Thank you very much gentlemen! Here is a small update on the building progress on the Enterprise. The platforms on the fuselage are attached and the flight deck is fixed. Two gaps still have to be worked on here and the weathering is still missing.
2 October 2021, 10:48

Thank you Oliver!
Here are a few more photos of the current building progress on the Big E. The island with its radar systems and railings can be upgraded enormously with PE parts from Eduard.
14 January 2022, 14:38

Damn. I am working on the Constellation right now and I can't even come close to how precise and clean your PE railings are. Really inspirational.
14 January 2022, 15:32

14 January 2022, 18:04

Zach, Oliver and Dietmar - thank you for your motivating comments mates. That gives me a boost for the last meters.

16 January 2022, 16:10

Damn how could I miss that built ? Great looking ship !!! Hope your build will be inspiration to continue work on my Nimitz 🙂
16 January 2022, 16:33

After a long time I can finally report something new from the Big E: The 27 airplanes and 3 helicopters of Carrier Air Wing 8, which will later be set up on the deck of the Enterprise, are finally ready. I used Starfighter decals - unfortunately the colored ones were very much out of register, the single-colored ones were okay.
On the pictures you can understand a little how the models were made.
27 January 2023, 18:52

29 January 2023, 14:16

After more than two years of construction, I was finally able to complete the Big E. I am quite satisfied with the result, even if the weathering seems exaggerated in places. This is also due to the sometimes high magnification of the images.
I hope you like the Enterprise too and I wish you a lot of fun with the pictures.
4 April 2023, 20:59

Brilliant work mate. I have recently started my CV65 kit too. Unfortunately, I can't afford the £130 for the 2 Eduard Big Ed sets for it. So, I will be building mostly out of the box. I do have extra decals for the ship and aircraft.

Thank you Mona, that must have been a terrifying experience. The idea would be a fortified position in the Mekong Delta. I'm planning to build a sandback bunker and a piece of ricefield. Thx!

OMG - I'm so glad I saw this. The M113s are simply stunning! The Dio is really shaping up to be a killer as well - don't know how you havent\'t gone crazy building the palm leaves, but wow!!!!
1 February, 14:53

@CaptGPF, thanks man! I cheated a bit on the palmleaves. I lasercutter the leafs in a thermoplast sheet, but there is still a lot of finalising to do offcourse. I don't think this method has been tried before... Also thank you Rui!
1 February, 21:53

cheated? i certainly disagree. you did a great use of what you have at hand. why should you buy the same stuff as aftermarket if you can make your own? 😉 great job
1 1 February, 22:21

Totally agree with Spanjaard - it's not cheating if you make it yourself. Making kits doesn't mean you have to suffer if a more efficient way can be used!
2 February, 16:10

Thanks for the approval guys! Very excited to see the end result
2 February, 18:44

Looking excellent so far. The palm trees are the most realistically modelled ones I've seen.

Hawk Mark IX
14 31 March, 19:49

Just picked up the 15" 1/48 Space 1999 Hawk Mk IX Interceptor. Looks to be a very nice kit. Pleasantly surprised at the details, nice heavy plastic. I really wanted a big one of these, and this is the largest I could afford, so far it's well worth the money. Plus I bought it straight from the Gerry Anderson site, as it was cheaper than anywhere else. Thinking about scratching a cockpit interior for it, although in the show it didn't have one. Not sure what version I'll do, pre production, from the episode, or a custom version. But it'll be a fun build.
31 March, 19:55

That's it for today, just basic construction of engine rocket boosters, sponson rockets and painted the inside black, can't be bothered to scratch an interior this time, I'll tint the windows yellow, for a moody 70s look.
1 April, 13:57

Where I'm at so far, added the cockpit glass, slightly tinted. I'm painting anti flash black around the cockpit windows, as this seems logical.
3 April, 01:25

That's me done for today, built and painted the Hawk's Nuclear reactor chamber and main booster rocket.
3 April, 14:21

I lied, oddly for me I'm a bit addicted to this one. Fun so far, but now I need a break, not bothered about the obvious seam lines down the lower fuel tanks, as they get covered up by the pannier sponson booster rockets. more tomorrow.
3 April, 17:51

Thanks for the Like on my attempt at this Ian. Your's is shaping up to be way better than mine was (nothing new there 😁). Looking forward to see how you tackle the curve on the Orange section on the nose.
4 April, 18:07

Added fuel pipework and thruster fuel supply to the underneath, and painted the basic colours for the front of the hull, and the cockpit. I'm painting the anti-glare in front of the cockpit, as without it the pilots would be blind in space, plus I think it looks better. Getting there.
5 April, 18:20

Gorgeous! Did you use any masking at all on the Orange? Or, is your hand so steady to paint those curves that cleanly 😯
5 April, 18:33

Yeah Gareth, just painted it by hand with a brush, same as they did on the filming miniature.
1 5 April, 18:38

That's enough for today. Almost done, decals soon. Just the Solar panels, weapons and the side sponson booster rockets to go. Great kit, lots of fun to build.

That's a great way to always have space for just one more in your evolving collection 👍 Your friends and their children most be pleased as punch to have such lovely momentos of their visits. I bet your generosity is kick-starting new modellers' hobies 🙂👍
23 October 2021, 20:37

Great idea to have built models on hand as giveaways, to infect a new generation 😄 👍
23 October 2021, 22:08

I just started modeling in January 2021 and am enjoying how the more models you complete the less precious each becomes which permits more experimentation and play.
24 October 2021, 02:34

Thank you all, Mates, for your kind words.
@Bruce: In fact, one of these boys now assembles Zvezda 1/100 snap-fit tanks himself, and is eager to try more complex kits 🙂
24 October 2021, 10:04

Very cool. Love these kits too. Let me guess why my Komet is the same set and 'camo'? 😉
24 October 2021, 11:28

Also good job getting the kids interested, we need more modelers. Can anyone remember those days of innocence when this was mainly a kids hobby, and you would get a new kit with your allowance, and build the kit in a weekend, and not a bunch of middle aged men spending hundreds of dollars, and weeks and months just building one kit
24 October 2021, 15:26

I can certainly remember trying to clean enamel paint off a cheap brush, on newspaper, and having no idea that thinners or brush cleaner even existed! So many memories of every single kit built 🙂👍
24 October 2021, 15:47

@Mike and Bruce - that's why from time to time I just need to assemble some kit not taking care about (too much) detailing and weathering, etc. 😉
24 October 2021, 17:12

Nice build, Robert. A good replica of that yellow wing flyer. Cheers!
24 October 2021, 17:26

Your 'easy ones' build collection is kind like what I am doing with low-cost 1:72 kits to try out different techniques. Most of your builds are on my agenda. 👍
24 October 2021, 17:41

... and kudos for the latest addition, that lovely (and a personal favorite of mine) SG-38/Eton... 👍 👍 😉
9 May 2023, 18:33

I am happy you like it, Mates. Thank you for your kind words!
9 May 2023, 19:59

Such a pleasure to look through your beautifully presented album, Robert.
9 May 2023, 20:10

This glider is especially important to me because it reminds me of my childhood when my father made a flying version of it. You've done a very good job with it.
10 May 2023, 16:37

I heartily endorse this approach!...what a good way to have a diversion and some experimentation...we scientists do it all the time, and it should be applicable to model making!
Excellent standards too!- despite the fact they're 'shake and bakes'...
27 July 2023, 09:06

A very nice collection with a building philosophy that inspires.
Great work!
28 July 2023, 09:45

REally nice Leo!! Good work Robert!
How was the assembly and quality of the kit?
I plan to do the same, only in the version of the Austrian Armed Forces;)
28 July 2023, 14:23

Thank you, Simon, I feel honoured by your praise 🙂 The kit is simplicity itself, can be assembled in no time. Fit is just perfect - it is almost a snap-fit kit.
28 July 2023, 15:59

A really beautiful collection! You reminded me my childhood, when me and my uncle visited his good friend, he always had a nice little gift to give me. He was mainly worked with matchbox 1:76 kits. Thanks for sharing!
30 July 2023, 07:54

Stunning presentation on the A5M. You've done the old workhorse proud.
6 October 2023, 18:18

Nice collection of tryouts Robert, I had somehow missed this album before?
28 October 2023, 12:16

Thanks, Jan 🙂 I just upload here photos of the newly finished kit from time to time...
28 October 2023, 12:40

Thanks, Łukasz, much appreciated 😉 Generally, printing is quite good - no visible layers and the level of detail is awesome (due to this I lost the tiny rear-view mirror to my carpet monster at the stage of removing the technological supports - I just did not notice it... On the other hand, a few technological supports touch the sides of the cabin - you can easily spot their remains - practically impossible to remove for me. Also the tarpaulin supports and benches are printed together in situ, what makes cleaning the whole compartment a bit difficult. (Of course, one could substitute these supports with pieces of wire... 😉 ). Tracks, wheels and their supports are printed as whole units as well. No transparencies, no decals, of course... Recommended! 😉
29 October 2023, 20:10

"mirror mirror on the wall...what the heck has gone 😉"
24 November 2023, 14:20

hey Robert, very nice compilation and there are also a few really rarely seen models.
I also saw the trouble with the decals on the beautiful Buffalo.
I'm excited to see what else ends up on your table👍
17 March 2024, 15:14

Thank you, Kyriakos! You've inspired me to finish the MiG-15 in USAF markings 😉
17 March 2024, 20:33

Very nice inspirational collection. I enjoy browsing through the album. 👍👍
The model in photo 21 and 22, is this a Peugeot Char 1918 37mm tank in 1/72 scale ?
15 April 2024, 08:38

Thank you, Bohrmann, much appreciated. Yes, it is Peugeot Char (3d printed kit from Polish company: Peugeot Char 1918 37mm (Play..hnology) IDA-PMI0139B, 1:72))
15 April 2024, 14:01

It is a "Box scale" item, Łukasz 😉 No info on the box - some Mates here described it as 1:144 scale model...
11 June 2024, 11:21

Thank you, Alec. I am not the fan of the story, but I needed to build something quick & easy...
11 June 2024, 16:38

Nice! I really like the Naleszkiewicz JN-1 tailless glider.
(Yes, I did have to look in your 'completed kits' to find out what it is. 😳 )
6 December 2024, 11:56

Thank you, Gorby! (I suppose most of modellers from Poland would not know it either 😉 )
6 December 2024, 12:39

that is certainly a unique model... i am sure gorby is already thinking about getting one already 😉
6 December 2024, 13:05

Thank you all, Mates, for your kind words, I feel honoured 🙂
@Łukasz - on the one hand, this is quite a well-designed and detailed kit, and you even get pre-cut masks for the cabin transparencies. On the other hand - the whole cabin/fuselage part is made of transparent plastic, what makes fitting and glueing the interior parts a bit troublesome. Joining both halves together is tricky too, as the glue must be strong (and there is a risk of fogging when you use a CA glue). Decals have extensive carrier film, are very thin, and grab the surface immediately with almost no chance to correct the placement. Final verdict: recommended 😄
6 December 2024, 13:43

Thank you, JJ and Alec 🙂 @Alec - actually it was the main reason why there existed only a prototype of this glider 😉
6 December 2024, 16:10

Thumbs up for the new (glider) addition... It just HAD to be a part of your collection! 👍 👍
6 December 2024, 22:00

Thank you, Alex! (You know me better than I do myself 😉 )
7 December 2024, 08:26

With another background the glider in pic 58 would look real! Clean work 👍
1 11 December 2024, 10:56

Thank you very much, Bughunter! You are too kind to me.
11 December 2024, 17:39

Now, dear Robert, after your latest glider... wouldn't it be great to follow up with this kit (that, not surprisingly, seems to be in your stash)? - Armstrong-Whitworth AW-52 (MikroMir 72-016, 1:72)
1 12 December 2024, 02:55

Thanks for your suggestion, Alex (and kind words 🙂 )... So many models, so little time... Yes, I have this kit on my shelf 😉
12 December 2024, 06:24

In the meantime I've assembled a wee Albatros in unusual livery. I hope you'll like it 😉
9 February, 16:15

Wow, that's tiny 😮 Never understood the idea behind this fake USAF Albatrosses (or aren't they fake?)
9 February, 16:41

As far as I know, this one was really tested by USAF at Edwards:
aftc.af.mil/News/On-..t-test-pilot-school/
9 February, 17:08

This is perhaps the only Eastern-Europe developed warplane tested by USAF that was not the spoil of war (or a defector's plane)...
4 9 February, 18:04

The latest addition in photo 74 looks great although I don't know what it's called. As you build some very obscure aircraft it might be good to give their name with the photos. 🙂
6 April, 13:31

Thanks Robert, that helps. Now I can confidently say that I like the Japanese one which I can't pronounce. 😄
6 April, 14:51

LOL 🙂 I needed to assemble a few 'easy' kits to ensure myself that I am able to finish a model (I am a little frustrated with the Lesher Teal...)

For future memory, since it will suffer weathering for the diorama.
Thx Danny_Aviation.
9 February 2023, 22:46

@ James C, thank you for your kind comment. It was born for the Dio so it will end up in it. But I must confess that your words pass my mind 🙂
@ Mathias thx mate, yap I definitely go for it, not sure about the results but that comes with every project, so...
@ Alec K, thx. No need for that. Yap, I built it. You can see the "build log"? in my Mariupol album.
@ Michael, thx, well, this are the photos of the exhibition hall side. The other sides are already a bit damaged for the Dio, so 4 will have to do. If I had a bit more detail in the lower part on this side before weathering, I may change the side ones.

Hello mates. Sorry for the late reply. Didn't notice so many nice comments. Thank you all very much. Apreciated.
@ Alec K, np mate with so many great works in here it's easy to lose it. Thx for your appreciation anyways
@ Victor Ivlev, thx glad you like it, the saloon version it's finished. Can't show the left side because I've already shot the window 😉
@ Benoit, my pleasure mate, glad you stop by and comment. Thx.
@ Vagabond, glad you liked it. Coming from a professional it feels great. When I was a small boy I liked everything about firefighting trucks. I I remember opening a Christmas present Before Christmas, playing with the remotely controlled semi trailer truck until the truck's steering broke. wrap it up again and wait for better days crying my heart out 😄
@ Jean-Michel Tilquin, thx for your kind words and recognition. Coming from such a talented modeler feels even better.
@ Robert Podkoński, thank you. Really glad you liked it, and comment.
@ Neil, you are to kind mate thx a lot.
@ Mark Sherwood, thank you for stopping by and such nice comment on this different and unique subject indeed.
@ Sergio Ordonez, thx my friend I'm very glad you like the wood work, apreciated.
@ Kurt Shepard, thx I hope you are right.
@ gvizbi, I really admire your work too my friend. I'm glad you comment a different kind of tea 😄. Also not my comfort zone subject but I'm really happy that I've got the courage to embark on such endeavor. It was a great experience for me and enjoy it a lot.
7 July 2023, 23:16

I think this big project that required a lot of patience.
Congratulations on a great finish. 👏
9 July 2023, 13:18

Hi MS K, Sorry for the late reply. Yap I enjoyed the lot of scratch to be done.
Thank you for your kind comment. Apreciated
8 September 2023, 10:49

Thank you Neuling, a comment from such talented modeler is always very welcome. Appreciated.
The Challenge now, is to weather it and take her to Mariupol 1941 😉
I take the opportunity to upload some photos of the real deal. I Hope the firefighters mates like them.
24 March 2024, 13:21

25 March, 16:23

@ GuyW, Thank you for commenting. Some of it it's realy wood;
@ Randy Kriegel, Thx for stoping by. It's now a little bit uglier because I've already started the weathering process to put it in my "Mariupol, October 8, 1941" dio;
@ Mathieu CACAULT, Thank you so much for your kind words, it was a very interesting scratch build project, to put in my above named dio.
