This kit was started by my friend Greg Banks who passed away in 2018. It was missing a few parts for the road wheels, so I ordered some spare sprues on Ebay, I think they were from the Trimaster kit. They are much better detailed than the Historic kit. The tracks are not what I would call state of the art. Greg also had a aftermarket barrel and some PE from Eduard. I not going to use all the PE, I'm saving the rest for another Panzer Ib Greg started.

1/35 HPM Panzer Ia Modificado started by Greg Banks.
While things are curing elsewhere, I got all the major players together for a photo op prior to the paint booth. I'm going start out by black basing, then some Panzer gray and Sand camouflage according to references.

Safely out of the paint booth and resting comfortably. Panzer Gray and Sand camo will be next.

Is that the ICM Tiger II?

No, it is the old motorized Tamiya Tiger II. It has been embellished with PE and some scratch building here and there. Right now it is on the Shelf of Doom.
