@Donald, thank you! There were a few minor fit issues. It took some sanding to get the top halves of the wings to align properly, and there was a stubborn seam where the wing assembly fits into the back of the fuselage. Otherwise it all went together pretty well. The detail is good, though there are some areas that are simplified. I've also done their F-106 in 1/72, which is a more sophisticated kit, and you realize Meng could have pushed the design just a little further. But it's an excellent kit overall. What was your experience?

Ogre, I was disappointed in the fit of the intakes and the canopy. It was impossible to model it closed as the canopy would NOT fit. And the intakes were really bad considering this was supposed to be a high end model. It came out really nicely, but, again, given its supposed status, there was too much work needed.

@Donald, I ran into some of the same issues with the intakes, though I don't remember them being so bad. The canopy was a problem for sure! I like to mask and close the canopy and paint the model as a whole to get a unified look, and it simply would not close. I ended up breaking off one of the tabs and needed to improvise a repair.

Tamiya XF-19 Sky Gray. I'm not sure it's a perfect match, but I'm not sure anyone has nailed ADC gray.
