This well known civilian vehicle was used by some units of the Belgian Army as liaison vehicle for passenger transport. It was also used by the Belgian Rijkswacht/Gendarmerie, especially by the B.O.B. / B.S.R. (Bijzondere Opsporings Brigade / Brigade Spéciale de Recherches). Main differences consisted of the addition of a radio unit and a small special fibreglass antenna on the roof.
