I spontaneously started building the new Morane 406 kit from Dora Wings. It was built oob. I only replaced the dashboard with coloured etched parts from AZ Model. The main reason for this was that the instrument layout for an MS.406 was far more correctly reproduced in the etched parts. In addition, the missing rows of rivets were added to the wings and fuselage.

In my search for a relaxed modelling project, I picked out the Fw 190 kit from eduard. Apart from the matching Löök set from eduard, the construction will be largely oob.
However, to make the whole thing a little more challenging, I'm now building a small series of this aircraft type in parallel with three other Fw 190s from eduard

The second kit in my small Fw 190 series is also a Fw 190 A-5. Apart from the use of a bronze undercarriage from eduard, the kit is again largely built oob.

The third Focke-Wulf in my small series is a Fw 190 A-6. The kit is again from eduard and is largely built oob.

Beautiful Beaufort! How did you accomplish the chipping? The wing root chipped areas look particularly good. The rest does too, those areas just stand out. Nice!

Thank you very much John 👍 I always apply the chipping with a brush, for me it's the best way to control the application. For the silver colour I tried something new here and used silver pigment powder for printers with clear varnish as a binder. A little burnt umber oil paint was also added to the silver to break up its sheen.
