CA-34 Project
Initial setup. CA-34 alongside USS Indianapolis and small boys.
Clay ballast added for stability during construction.
Replacement anchor hawsepipes.
That's Trumperer's CA-38 in 1/350 scale for comparison.

Adding brass barrels by Voyager. First attempt, without blast bags, didn't look right.
Decided to secure the plastic barrels, then trim off the tubes.
Once the new barrels were in place and immobilized, I flooded the join with thin CA.

CA-34 improvements: Fore mast re-done in brass & styrene, minor parts added (20mm, Carly floats, anchors with "disappearing" shanks, etc.)
