I see, Albi, you like it big! Great start! Seats and surroundings are amazing! 👍
10 December 2013, 17:41

Thank you Frank.
Indeed ... but the Heinkel will be the top .... no storage place left !!!
10 December 2013, 18:07

... I was thinking about it but that would be to much! 😉
(...even if I put it on the wall ....!!! To BIG!)
10 December 2013, 18:23

Hehe, you should leave a bit of space for the HK Models B-17...😉😉😉
10 December 2013, 18:24

BÄM!
Thats looking good, Albi!!! The chipping on the seat, for example... Great!
11 December 2013, 07:31

Great job on the wood. The rest is well done also. Will stay tuned. Gary

KG 54, welche Gruppe denn? Die dritte vielleicht? Oder geht das aus den Montex Declas nicht hervor?
11 December 2013, 14:05

Thank you mates for the motivating words ... phuuh, its really a BIG one!
@ Holger: I assume it's the "2. Gruppe" (2./KG54) but no further details ...
11 December 2013, 14:53

2. Gruppe was established in Gütersloh, cool! My mum was born there...😉
11 December 2013, 15:19

Very nice start, lovely seat details and cockpit - love the used look.
11 December 2013, 18:13

Thank you mates, I try to give my best ...The cockpit is same business as usual, but it will be difficult with the big surfaces on the outside.
11 December 2013, 18:30

I am very impressed. A very nice start. I'm looking forward to the next pictures.
11 December 2013, 18:39

Thank you Martien, as soon as the glue is dry ... more pictures will come... it takes a lot more time as the usual 1:48 ...
11 December 2013, 18:58

Hi Andy
most of all, it's the surface of the plastic part, then Tamiya XF-15 flat flesh all over ...
and with oil paints (burnt Sienna and Sienna natural and a little bit of 502 Abteilung "Engine Grease"😢 for the finish ...
12 December 2013, 16:45

This is stunning.
I love the weathering of the seat.
Very impressive. 👍
12 December 2013, 18:41

Thank you mates for your kind words!
I'll be back with more pictures soon ...
But this one won't be a quick build ... it takes more time as I thought ... ( ... a lot of glue to dry)
13 December 2013, 19:57

take your time, and surprise us with the result! awesome!
13 December 2013, 20:23

29 March 2014, 16:27

Superb - looks busy with a well used interior - just as it should - particularly like photo 6.
30 March 2014, 20:29

Great build so far. Where will you put it? I have a 1:48 He 111 lying around that I'm afraid to build 'cause I have no space for it....
30 March 2014, 20:40

Thank you mates for the words of praise and the interest.
The thing is, its a BIG plane and I'm not ready with the shelf (@Wim) yet.
Thats the reason this build is on hold at the moment.
But after my current (big) projects I will finished this one for sure... 😉
30 March 2014, 21:29

Stunning example of modelling. Just superb - and if I were you I would display right in the center of your dining table! 🙂
30 March 2014, 22:00

31 March 2014, 10:40

Thank you mates for the kind comments and the interest.
@Augie: Its what I try to achieve. I try to image how something is look like after a couple of sorties.
@Bill:I'll talk to my wife .... even then ... we need a bigger table 🙂
31 March 2014, 12:20

I'm the wife. The house is not big enough, any donations for a hangar are welcome 😛
31 March 2014, 18:04

Hi Albi! Great work on the Cockpit so far. This will become a stunning model!
@Ursi: My wife and me are struggeling with the same Problem! It`s allways good to see when a wife supports her husband`s crazy Hobby. This is quiet unusual and seldom seen! 🙂 Very well done! What`s Your next kit?
31 March 2014, 18:24

LOL
well, he had to do Glacier Girl for me so I kind of have to support😉

31 March 2014, 18:26

Hello Ursi!
What a cool idea to login here!🙂
Hey please support your husband, his talent is too good not to be supported! Where should i send the money for the hangar?😢😢
And btw, i have plenty of space for his models here!😢
