try steel wool to clean up along the seams on the wing near the fuselage and will appear yellow soil brought about by the earlier only not very quietly

if the wing was covered with yellow primer then the fuselage where you get the pilot course if you want realism

I will not paint damage affix, in a report to the planes of the subcarrier is clearly described that these aircraft were well maintained, and paint damage were painted over immediately to provide the salt water no chance
So it will remain in a few color variations to give the Dark live a little

Enough again, a re-edition without defects has the final 🙂 found the diamonds are painted, emblems, figures and captions are Decals

Decals are easy to apply. Indeed it can be a bit boring on the jets since there's more reading than in the newspaper, but that's just time consuming. Prop jets have gun barrels, antenna, wires and they're dirty and weathered. Me is scared 😄

The dirt is a little thing, real dust makes it easy 🙂
Antennas and cables are probably relatively simple, since the weapons loads of modern jets are often more diverse than the total cultivated parts of a Prop
However, until 1930, I also have very great respect 🙂
