Scratch building a missing MFH part...
Instructions section 4 part No:M51 not in box...
Offending part from another MFH B3 kit...
I measured the part and cut a piece of aluminium rod to size, the white blob to the right is the stem of filler cap...
Filler cap finished, receiving hole drilled...
In position and glued in place...
I only painted the white plastic Filler Cap, as you can see with Humbrol Metal Cote 27002 Polished Aluminium...

Recently a member informed the community of missing parts in his Model Factory Hiro kits, this perturbed me. I decided to check my kits!!! I found one missing part, it was Ferrari 312B3 German GP kit, item: K-247, part M51 in section 4 of instructions. I know Hiro San well enough to have asked him for a replacement, taking cost of kit into consideration, maybe I should of done. But I decided to fabricate my own. So successful was it, I replaced the ones in my other MFH B3 kits as well.
