I have the 1/48th scale Academy kit, so I'm going to pay attention to this build. Nice start. Gary

Wow! What kind of paint do you use for painting the exhaust panels?

Hi Alexander, about the paint I started using BURNT METAL and JET EXHAUST from AK (Xtreme Metal) as a base. Then some small pannels were painted STEEL (again AK but this time by brush using AK True metals). Over all these coats I applied light (very diluted) coats of Jet Exhaust (ALC-113) and Engine Mainfold (ALC-123) from ALCLAD. Two additional pannels were painted using ALCLAD GOLD TITANIUM. To finish I used clear colors (X-23 clear blue and X-26 clear orange ) from Tamiya. Cheers.

Fabuleux! Who said models are toys? That's ART! Looking forward to see that Flanker in real. Fantastic job, Pierre!

A really beautiful Flanker! Engines look great and a smooth paintjob. 👍
I really like the way how you painted and weathered the concrete of the base. Need to try that some day as well.
