My Dad's MG TF
The wire wheels were the easiest part of the kit to build.
The wheels, grill, and headlamps are polished white metal.
The MG logos are extras from Fujimi's MGB kit
The fit of the major parts was decent, but required bending and tweaking them. Smaller parts required a fair amount of grinding to fit.
I used paint from the rattle can for the first few coats, but screwed things up and got runs and bubbles. After sanding the body, I resprayed with decanted spray paint using my new mini spray gun. It was much easier and came out looking much better.
I wish I'd had time to detail it more, but I cut it close as it is--I just finished on the evening of the 23rd!

This model will be my Christmas gift for my dad. He owned an MG TF back in the early 60s and loves the look of the car. His was off-white with a red interior, but he always wanted one in British Racing Green, so I'm fulfilling his wish (after a fashion).
The Finecast kit nearly got the better of me--it took me ten months to build it. This was my first white metal kit, and I learned a lot in building it.
