haha, great idea, love it 🙂
looking good so far Steve 👍
this kit is now on the wish list😉
btw, are the "fuselages" solid plastic ?
I wonder how easy it would be to bend the tails ?
and how easy it might be to mix and match the arms and legs ?

Thanks, Choppa. The bodies are shelled but the tails are solid. Some of the arms and legs are to be switched to get six different raptors out of two identical sprues. There is a theory that the tail wouldn't bend ( scienceblogs.com/tet..6/dromaeosaur-tails/ )

that's cool it's setup to do six different ones, although I would be tempted to stick one or two in some hot water and soften them right up for bending into new poses etc.
Bought some Dino kits for friends for an xmas pressy, might have to get one or two or six for myself 😄

The Tyrannosaurus is more current than the other kits. I actually found these only once in a shop.

What a great idea, very imaginative. Who doesn't remember vividly this scene from the movie, a perfect choice for a modelling diorama

Thanks, guys. I found one other precedent but they didn't put Tim in it and added the whole kitchen surrounding. I'm going to focus only on what you see on the foreground, that should work out well.

I like how you made Tim's shirt dangle around his body. And the counter looks fantastic!

Thank you for the appraisal. Today it's the Uri Geller show, a set of spoons has to be provided. Tim has got his bandages and is now recovering from a session of Armypainter Chaotic Red.

Tim has got some color now. The raptors are treated with AK Interactive wash for NATO 3-tone.

The floor is painted. Tomorrow it can be filled. I had some adhesion issues with the Tamiya NATO Brown.

This era comes to an end... The raptors are fixed to the base with wires, together with the counter. The boy is glued to it because it was too hard to find the right wire location and angle. Enjoy the scene!

Thanks, Arne! For once it's something that doesn't take a lot of space, about 10x10cm without the frame.

Damn it Steve - I've been watching this project hoping it would explain to me how the Raptors managed to use their tiny little hands to actually open the kitchen door !!! I'll just have to watch the movie again.
Loved watching your work whoa to go - delivering fantastic result for all your efforts.
Cheers mate
