Hi Alex, no, no, that's 1:48, the new version of the Bf 109 from new forms,
the first edition was a little big, but next to the ICM and Zvezda models had also absolutely correct

I just received that kit this past week. Nice kit all around. For a 1/48 scale kit, it looks like 1/72. Its just the actual bird was that small. Amazing detail and as usual Eduard adds some nice stuff to the package.

Der Bausatz ist jetzt akurater was den Maßstab angeht, weil da der alte Bausatz ja doch nicht wirklich war.
Es gibt im Flugzeugforum schon paar Berichte wie der Bausatz jetzt so ist was die Richtigkeit angeht:

Ja, Soeren, dass ist mir wohl bekannt. Mich interessierte nur ob man das an Flügelspitzen, Rumpflänge etc. auch wirklich sieht/augenfällig ist. Denn manche Diskussionen, ob nun eine Nietenreiche richtig sitzt oder der Spinner einen zu flache Form hat, geht mir manchmal auf´n Sack. Ebenso wie dieses: Ha, ich hab was gefunden das falsch ist!
Ich meine es ist nett das eduard einige Fehler korrigiert hat aber der alte Bausatz wäre mir genauso gut, denn eines ist klar - Es ist ne 109 - falsche Tankklappe hin oder her... 😉;)

Da bist du nicht der einzige Bastler den sowas nervt 😉
Und wenn du beide Bausätze nebeneinander stellst, fällst es wohl schon auf, weil die größentechnisch schon unterschiedlich sind. Ggf könnte Jens das ja mal machen, weil die neue 109er bestimmt zum Wochenende fertig ist 😛 😛

Fällt auch schon auf wenn du ne Hase 48er gegen die alte G-6 von Eduard stellst.
Das liegt aber im Auge des Betrachters, wenn du nur die alte G-6 baust und onst keine 48er 109er fällt es vermutlich auch net auf 😛

Der neue Bausatz hat an einigen Teilen Sinkstellen , was beim Alten nicht zu sehen war.
Ein Vergleich der Modelle zu Hasegawa oder Zvezda zeigt kaum Unterschiede in der Grösse oder dem falschen Maßstab(alter Kit ! ), ich persönlich war von der Erstauflage ebenso angetahn wie von der Neuauflage , beide Modelle sind nich 100% verjkleinerte Originale , schlagen aber die Alten Bf 109 G Versioen um längen, und der Preis stimmt einfach für das gebotene !

absolutely, the kit builds almost without saying 😄 I know of Eduard other things, like the Tempest or many WW I fighter
