Half way through. I have build the interior and sprayed it with the same green base color that i will later use for the model. Radio and devices were sprayed in black. Next step will be detail painting and drybrushing of the interior. I think i will add a little bit of weathering like chipping on the edges and mud/sand on the floor.

Finished the interior. I must admit its not my best work. :/ There are only few pictures of the interior of an BRDM-2 and i have found no pictures of the real radio and devices that were in the vehicle. The interior will be only visible through the small front windows or if you remove the turret.

Interior is now completed. Joined the upper and lower hull together. Perfect fit only some spots needed a little bit of putty.😉

The build is complete. Was really fun to build this one. The only thing i added were the cabling for the lamps.
The model is already primed black and is drying right now.

Thanks James. The tow cable is included in the kit. Got the same problem with my fingers, they are also not small and sometime shaky.😉 Really hard to add small cable like that.😉

Haha, i need to prepare myself mentaly for my next project. From Monday on i will be on summer vacation and will stay at home this time. I decided to build the T-72B from Trumpeter. The kit contains 1300 parts and during the construction i have to glue about 130 small PE disks to simulate the bolds for anti-radiation applique. That will be fun ...... 😛

Painting is complete. Next will be detail painting and wheels. I decided to go with a weathered model. Faded paint, some scratches, paint chipps and a little bit of rust.

Thanks James. The whole chipping was done with a piece of sponge and MIG Chipping paint. For the worn effect/streaks i used dark brown and rust wash.
