I had a choice between the Revell SdKfz 250 and this one... Looks like I really made the wrong choice.

Well... you might be right. According to Scalemates database Revell and Dragon kits differ only in decals.

Actually Revell would have been the right choice here. Moulds are the same, but only Revell has the correct Decals. One of the "Greif" decals should have been only white outlines, not filled out.

Well, it's hard to decide. On the vehicle's left side it looks like it was filled ([img1])
But on the right it is definitely just an outline ([img2])

Anyway, the decals of my kit are just rubbish. Maybe they are old, but they just fell apart. The "GREIF" for the left side was in such a bad shape, I could not use it... 🙁 What a pity!

Exactly what I meant, left side filled out, right just outline... could have worded that differently to avoid confusion😉
If it would be of help I could provide you with a scan of said Revell decals.

Thanks Fabian, I think I'll create a dio which displays the vehicle before it turned into the famous Greif. 🙂 Or at least sort of... 🙂
