F-16 RNLAF 2009 Solo / build
Big big problem with this f*****g plastic !!!!
Primer done. Added some extras after broken parts : AOA and pitot tube...
Some putty is needed here.... after the 1rst coat of base color, of course 🙁
2nd color
I cutted decal copy and put them on. So I can mask around them.
after the "decal" is removed.
here is a "copy decal" made from 2 decals.
ready...
.... for black !
black is done
applying and removing tape is still a problem for me : I have to correct paintings... black done (again)
obviously, some black went on the orange.... I have to correct this again. Thanks to Florymodels sanders !
everything is corrected on this side, at last ! Not perfect but it's enough for me...
too much for me, I stop it for a while...

Florent ThouretPatrick, I use Mr.Paint ref, made specially for this version. They're in the project, take a look. Two colors for the orane you see, and a red for the lion.
EDIT : you use the same ! So you won't have any problem to get the same result, or better...

Florent Thouretnot really... I had to use a lot of 1st layer orange to cover it. So I think there'll be a step on the black/orange line...

Spanjaardreally Martin? it was a lot easier when I could simply paint the two halves of the fuselage, glue them together... and add more paint to seam, and be happy with results 😄 😄 😄
or maybe today I make things more complicated that i should 😛

Maciej BellosI am with Spanjaard here. It was easier when I was 11 or so, I just glued the parts together, and if I was lucky enough to have a Matchbox, it was also coloured!

Florent ThouretI decided to stop this for e while. It's like a curse is on me.... My arm caught the spray and some paint went on the wing I've just finished.. it's too much for me, for the moment.
