This is a great model! Very nice water effects! How did you do this?

Thank you Sven! I am in the process of writing a tutorial, will be linked here as soon as it is finished. The short story is: Styrofoam, toilet paper + white glue, paint, gloss acrylic gel, cotton - and lots of patience 🙂

Thanks for the short explanatio, Boris. The tutorial will be quite interesting. In all I use nearly the some method but never turns our as good as yours. I like especially the lighter shades of the bow waves and wake.

I take my hat off your to excellent work Boris 👍
The water and the boat look absolutely stunning. Calm sea and slightly waves a perfect finish.
Did you build her full hull or waterline?
Cheers, Christian

You are welcome! The lighter colors are basically a result of airbrushing light blue/green before all the gloss medium is applied. I will try to explain and show all that stuff in the tutorial.

Thank you Christian! I built her full hull, as I did not know in advance how much of the hull would be visible in the end.
