I struggle with soldering of any size. What iron do you use for this sort of work? Tip size? Power? Type of flux/solder?

looks good so far. A bit weird to see you do modern stuff next to WWI...

Thank you, mates! I use the cheapest small 20W iron, will real copper tip! Flux is colophony solved in alcohol, solder is the usual Sn60PbCu2.
@Bart My main focus is WWI, but I build also other models, e.g. a beautiful wooden stage coach in 1:10, a Fort-T (see my projects), and also a jet. I even have egg planes in my stash (unbuilt yet) because they are so cute 🙂

I admire and hate you at the same time. Again this is not just great work - it's celestial!

Thank you ice! During the exhibition in Augsburg today a friend told me "It's heavy like a Matchbox car, compared to other toys" due to the brass 🙂

Man, this is eye-watering. Such delicate and precise work, the turned wheels are the icing on the cake. Very inspiring!

These are a few people here with extraordinary skills that I admire. You're one of them. I propose a fanclub called the Buggers 😉
Christian Bruer and Kerry Cox are top notch as well. For the rest of you, this is NOT a definitive list. I can't list all of you 🙂
