E. E. Canberra Mk. B2
![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/3/0/4/426304-23194-65-720.jpg)
A new project - a German Canberra. Kit comes from Roden, decals from Hahen.
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/3/0/3/426303-23194-49-720.jpg)
The kit is quite rudimentary, has no dowel pins, some unclean edges and transitions - can be cheerful. The landing gear bays are kept simple and are better.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/3/0/5/426305-23194-70-720.jpg)
So sawed out bays and first made the two wing halves suitable.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/3/0/6/426306-23194-43-720.jpg)
Scratched new bays with ice cream plastic.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/3/0/7/426307-23194-82-720.jpg)
And fits.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/3/0/1/426301-23194-72-720.jpg)
Same game on the nose.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/3/0/2/426302-23194-63-720.jpg)
Even better that way.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/3/0/8/426308-23194-25-720.jpg)
and still a little carving on the horizontal and the vertical stabilizer.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/3/0/0/426300-23194-86-720.jpg)
And as feared, without spatula, it does not work.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/8/2/1/428821-23194-46-720.jpg)
A few pics of my scratchbuilt cockpit.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/8/2/3/428823-23194-73-720.jpg)
The place of the navigator is ready.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/8/2/2/428822-23194-61-720.jpg)
Next, I will refine the seats and build the pilot's place.
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/8/2/4/428824-23194-62-720.jpg)
Looks good.
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/4/0/3/431403-23194-13-720.jpg)
After everything was installed, I painted the cockpit with dark gray and secured with clear coat. Also, the seats got their paint and a few small details.
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/4/0/4/431404-23194-28-720.jpg)
This time I did not use a decal for the instruments, but printed a template on photo paper, cut it out, glued it with wood glue and painted it over with silky gloss paint. Acts better in the original, even if you then see nothing more of it.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/4/0/5/431405-23194-80-720.jpg)
Finally, a little washing. Here too good to recognize the engine controls.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/4/0/6/431406-23194-14-720.jpg)
The back behind the rear cockpit were filled with small lead beads of a wood glue broth.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/4/0/7/431407-23194-81-720.jpg)
To secure another wall glued over it.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/4/0/8/431408-23194-15-720.jpg)
Sure is sure - even a 10mm nut that fits perfectly in the fuselage, with superglue installed.

Pre-shading the underside of the wings. Then colored with yellow included the hull. After that the hull was only preshaded. The next color will be orange.
