Martin von SchreckensteinI was really curious about how those metal barrels work so I went ahead and installed them. Quite a bit of work but not as bad as I expected. The Flyhawk kit is incredible, I keep looking into the box every day🙂

Slavo HazuchaNice, particularly the casemate battery gets a massive boost in scale detail! 👍 Poor Lützow took quite a beating, are you by chance going for a Jutland dio?

Martin von SchreckensteinNot a dio specifically but I will definitely try and complete the I. Aufklarungsgruppe, just waiting for the kits to be made🙂 As for Lutzow, the kit even includes the destroyer which was used by Hipper to switch ships mid battle so they will be side by side but no water base is planned..

Slavo HazuchaCool stuff indeed - I built a 700-scale ship exactly once long time ago... Entirely different world - I think photos do not bear full justice to how small these things & details really are. Nice job on both, but the small boat is a true gem with all that shaped railings & rigging 👍

Martin von Schreckensteinthank you everyone for your words of encouragement and praise, means a lot. i have added some pictures from the rigging to this album but Lutzow is now officially complete. The finished gallery will be created when I manage to make worthy pictures🙂
