Thanks. I have been doing a few 1:144 lately, the modern kits are getting better and better and there are little jewels to be had.

Ooh, that masking sheet for the pattern is genious (photo 15). Maybe a lot easier using that template, than airbrushing on every single dot.

@Treehugger Yes. they are quite popular now. This is the first time I have used them properly. After that I went over in a very thin version of the base colour to tone the effect down a little. I think my sheets are from MIG but loads of people sell them now.
