Thank you! Like so many, taken up again after 40+ years: thank goodness for YouTube! I'll keep posting my builds - onto early jet fighters now: finishing the He-162 and starting on the Tamiya Meteor...

Nice collection! I'm from the suburbs of Toronto and I recently got the new 1/48 F-86E kit from italeri. I really want to do the Canadian RAF version, but I don't have any brown paint for the nose section, and I've got no hobby shop near me, and I just made an order online, and would prefer it if I didn't have to spend the shipping again. Do you have any ideas on how I could mix some? Thanks

Good question: I used Tamiya RAF brown for the nose - don't know of a way to mix brown. Have you looked at Sunward Hobbies? They ship for free if your order is over $60.00, which I've found is pretty easy to get to...sunwardhobbies.ca/ Good luck with the build!

Not a bad kit: I carved out the air intake and painted the interior flat black to give some more depth. If you want, scratch build an inlet valve. I've got a Hasegewa kit coming, so I'll do a European 1/48th camo version to match the 1/72 one that I did.

Album info
Started building again after many, many years a few months ago: self-isolation is really helping with my productivity and skills. Mostly 1/72 Canadian aircraft; working up to 1/48 as my building improves.
