I surely hope the "Lazy Afternoon" refers to the diorama setting! 😉 This amount of work would take me about a Lazy Month!.... 😄

Very nice dio, beautiful weathering, your small scratch technique (like in photo 44) is impressive. Can you explain how you achieved that result?
If this is your first dio? I'm looking forward for the next ones 👍
P.S. I also like the tires real look👍

Thank you Rui. 🙂 Yeah this one is my first dio. You can call it a test run to see if its fun or not. 😄
I liked it and will build more in the future. 🙂

Very good work on this attractive truck. I especially like the paintwork and the moderate weathering. Die verschiedene Bemalung einzelner Fahrzeugteile sieht sehr gut aus.

@Rui, sorry completely missed you question. 🙁
Which one do you mean? The scratches on the vehicle or on the green addon armor?
The scratches on the vehicle are done with a piece of regular kitchen sponge. The color i us for the scratches is Vallejo 70.822 German c. black brown. To achieve this fine scratches on the armor, i remove almost all paint from the sponge.
For the scratches on the dusted surface, just use a toothpick. 😄

I also use the "dry sponge" method, but recently acquired a set of "hard" lead weathering/chipping pencils by AK. Really useful for doing long and very fine scratches and paint chips. I used them for the first time on my recent Ferdinand build.

@James, thx for the tip. Lady year I bought some similar pencils precisly the same colours, but from an artists brand. I think they are the hard type. I Will give them a try maybee on my T 26😎

Nice truck! How do you weather the vinyl tyres? Does enamel paint damage them?

Thank you Black Baron and Sarunas! 🙂
@Sarunas: This are resin wheels from Def.Model and not the original ones from the kit.
The weathering is really easy: Mixed the needed pigments, covered the wheel with a big amount of them and sealed with white spirit. Let them dry for a day and then removed the pigments with a brush and cotton swabs until i was satisfied with the result.
