I'm not a fan of this, and this is going in the wrong direction.
scalemates albums are not designed for "pure" reference pictures....they are not searchable and consume space.
there are other website with better capabilities for such reference pictures collections.
the reference images (all your albums) you uploaded consume 3GB of data. If everybody starts adding full reference albums they like (cars/aircraft/ships/....) there is an explosion of data we can't handle

I will follow your advice and look for other sites to post only the references and delete the albums here to save space! my sincere apologies, I do not wish for any confusion and harm anyone!
i thought they would help everyone, i didn't know they weren't searchable, because I always see the montage albums of the mattes too when looking for a specific theme!

Starbase101Synology NAS is where I keep mine, grouped in folders by genre and then subject.

JDI think reference photos are invaluable to the hobby. Having a searchable dbase would save everyone the legwork research that Rafael is doing for us. Reference links to offsite storage would be appreciated, then maybe a new album post would only need to have a couple of teaser pics plus the link...

for now I am taking advantage of the service already done selection and saving with this organization that I posted! so I'm slowly erasing the albums! as I put it on the external HD and cataloging it correctly so I can post in the same way!
I don't want to get in trouble for Tim and anyone, so let's be patient that one day everything will work out!

The severe cold encountered on the Russian front in the winter of 1941-42 found the Germans completely unprepared not only in heat retaining cold weather garments. This resulted in numerous, hastily improvised and makeshift heat retaining and snow camouflage items being utilized including everything from civilian winter clothing to white bed sheets. After the winter of 1941/42 the Oberkommando des Wehrmacht, (High Command of the Armed Forces), recognized the need for heavier winter clothing and testing began in the spring of 1942 to develop suitable garments.
The M43 fur-lined winter parka was designed in mid 1943 and featured with a full length button up front closure, it was introduced in early 1944. This Italian camouflage M43 Khakrov parka was made from spare fabric that the Germans liberated from Italian Army camps. The Khakrov Parka was so named as it was used by SS units fighting in the Cold winter of the Russian front .
M43 fur-lined parka featured with all the construction details include:
- Shell of the parka is made of Italian Camouflage cotton poplin with 9 x Germany army standard pebble grain hollow backed button front closure with an overlapping wind flap and an integral hood.
- Two breast pockets and two diagonally angled slash hip pockets all with scalloped button down flaps.
-The interior of the jacket are is fully lined in multi-panel mostly deep brown with some white rabbit fur to the body and grey quilted material to the sleeves.
- Fully rabbit fur lined oversized hood to accommodate a helmet.
