I see nothing but the highest quality stuff here, should build like a breeze. 😉

Do you get to have electrostatic wicks? Those thiny rods off the wings.

Can you let know how the exhaust ring from Eduard matches the rear of the kit?

Threehugger, no, I dont have the wicks, I will think later on the build how to do them...
Mark D, sure, I will dry fit the Eduard exhaust later this week and I can post here the result. I have heard that it does not match very well, but I already bought it :/

Nice range of aftermarket you got there, together with the selfmade wiring this should turn out really nice 👍 - awaiting further progress. 🙂

After seeing your pictures I have to come back to my previous remarks: Yes, it should build like a breeze..........except that darn landing gear! 😄 (I included the Aires Wheel Bay set and forgot about this.....)

Yep, that's right Patrick, the landing gear is coming up together nicely, but it consumes a loooot of time, luckily I am almost finished with all the photoetched parts 🙂
I considered using the Aires Wheel Bay set, maybe it would have been easier and faster, but I found the BIGED set relatively cheaper so...

Hi Sarunas, yes, I applied Mr Surfacer 1500 White over Eduard coloured photo-etch, as I thought it would be easier than paint everything and then glue the photoetched parts.

Nice progress! What I am not sure of is if this block version does have the newer aces II Seat with the stabilizers of the chute downwards at both sides of the headrest or still the earlier one? Maybe someone does know this? (I know the MLU has the newer version.)

To be more specific: they are the pitot tubes for the environmental sensor, that gives information to the recovery sequencer to determine which ejection mode should be activated at different speed/altitudes. (Thank you ejectionsite.com ?)

How did I miss the end of this build? Really great looking result, clean and professional! 👍 I also think that the exhaust looks very good too. 👍

Oh wow, what a finish on this one!
Can't fail to mention the exhaust-job being a top notch affair, but man, the whole thing just looks great! I'm having my own fun with a grey-grey paintjob right now, and this is just a fine example how just shades of grey can look super cool & realistic without over-blasting the shading. Spot on 👍
