Me 262 Hydra
I am not very good with putty... Gun holes drilled. A control stick added. Drilled one hole for loop antenna.
Gray-green applied.
Red area painted and "post-shading" with cheap make up added.
After 2-3 days make up is enough dry to apply clear varnish before decaling. Because i use paintbrush, applying varnish removes and fades slightly the make up giving a more subtle "post-shading" effect.
Clear varnish applied and decaling started. My attempt to make a contraption with duck tape, a compass and the razor didn't worked and the circle with the hydra logotype was cut using scissors with more pain than glory...
Decaling complete, and clear varnish coat applied. A bit of chipping added. Ready to make a light panel lines washing. Gun nozles darkened and a loop antenna from spares box glued.

Following. Are you making the Hydra decal or mask or are they aftermarket? Really interesting subject 👍

I use white decal paper for laser printer. I usually design the custom decals on illustrator (or fetch them from internet) and print them. Decals shown in my custom Mustangs or J2N gallery are printed in clear paper.

Work finished with a little vignette. The Hydra officer is no other than Red Skull.

Great build. I'm also interested in doing some hydra inspired fictional models. The red engine and decal combo is inspired.
