K5Y1 Build and Tensegrity Stand Experiment

It is a pretty old kit (1995) molded in brittle orange plastic with quite a bit of flash. Details are not great and fit is so-so.
But it is an interesting subject!

Pilot features were not molded very clearly. I did my best to give them real faces - seems to work at a distance but not up to close inspection

main main purpose with this build was in fact to experiment with a "tensegrity" mounting. I need to find some nylon fishing line or similar to make the mounting wires a little more invisible.

toned down the clouds; seems to make the tensegrity effect stand out a bit more too

Thanks Bruce. Turned out not to need any extra weight to throw the centre of gravity over the front wheels. Very much dependent on the geometry of the aicraft, but I think I'll be trying this again for an "in-flight illusion"
