Tamiya Scuderia Ferrari SF70H (1/20)
I'm a big F1 fan but this is my first F1 kit. I'm feeling a bit of pressure because it's pretty pricy on eBay these days. I have my generous wife to thank for giving it to me for Christmas!
I was a bit confused when the color callouts said "orange" for a part which I couldn't identify. After a bit of Googling the real car I realized that it's the knee pads! I toned the color down a bit from the Tamiya Orange that was suggested in the instructions.
Looking a bit more like a Racing Point at this stage!
Couldn’t resist an initial base coat to see how it looked. I’m using “Bright Red” from the Tamiya Lacquer line to match the TS callouts in the instructions.
The more I progress the more I realize that subassemblies are essential. Turns out F1 cars are more complicated than tanks or planes!

Kyle DeHartAwesome! I've long wanted to add this to my stash but as you say, price is prohibitive these days. Can't wait to see your build!
