I'm going to try to make the hydrodynamic suspension work really, now I've got workable metal tracklinks. This means I have to make torsion bars inside the tank, and a system to connect them to the underside of the base. For the painting I deviated from the quite useless painting instructions and bought the colors I recognized in the book.

Thanks, Tom. Today I made some components and decided that the system of levers is replaced with cogs and wormwheels.

I found a way to combine 2 wormwheel transmissions and a differential construction and then made the inner 4 axles spring-operated. A video of the result of the differential working can be seen on Youtube Video . Then I opened up all grid texture parts with an Airwaves-saw, the Tetra PE will fit in this. There appeared an ominous warp in the upper hull, so it's not all Tamiya quality... I installed styrene plates in the typical Tamiya sponson openings and covered the front fender parts with metal plate where the tools are hollowed out.

The system had to be removed again because it could not move the R-Model tracklinks around. The cogs in it were too small to be driven by a worm. I found a solution but all components in the tank must be adapted. The upper hull now has a metal tray to fill up the ventilation system. The track pins were made with a heavy-duty wire cutter and the MasterTools slide caliper.
