Me too, not so much the italeri kit. Actually I think their prices are way too high for what they offer. No engine, lack of details and every piece of plastic is just not well cut, lots of filling. Still a dream car from my childhood!

Italari is well known for reboxing all sorts
Of old molds whed in many cases bad fitments
This is one case lie that its actually and old potar kit
Tha hasegawa kit is a hasegawa kit and a bit newer mold
I have also seen nunu has fitment issues whed this car
And also other model hence there is brands I won't buy
Italari is one brand I don't rate high

Salvinos is also another one I won't touch
If you see me having any of those kits it's because
Its a very cool car or its a part of a larger buy
And thay will be for sale
I sold a heller kit to one guy it was an older kit
Dident take long before he gave up on it he told me
And he is a longtime modeller
Sure you can get them to look good
But just by buying another kit it becomes more enjoyable
And sometimes the cheap kit is better
Salvinos is an example of that very expensive
And nasty kits if you save money you will get a better kit always

Thanks for the input, as I am new in the game I still try to figure out what is what. Having said that, I am pretty satisfied with Tamiya and ebbro kits, the Ferrari 250GTO from Fujimi was a pretty nice kit as well. Revell kits can go both ways. I have different brands in my stash, soon I will have a first hand idea of what's going on.
One thing is certain, i will let time pass before I built one of those rally kits from Italeri, not too excited about all these decals either...

I have just looked at a build here of the Volvo turbo kit from nunu not sure about the fitments but the model sure looks great

That's why this site is so great. Many kits have reviews (never buy a kit without a review!) and there is always a mate to ask.
Be careful with 1/72 tamiya planes if it says "plastic made in Italy" on the box: Italeri kit!

Not satisfied with the result at all, I am glad is over. Big body decals ended up being a disaster, as expected. I am thinking of weathering it, just adding mud all over it. Will see..

Thank you guys, from a distance it does look decent... just don't zoom in. A beautiful machine anyways, I wish Lancia would bring it back as a retro design or something.

I never zoom in on my builds either Valsador. 😂 My stuff doesn't look good in macro. Nobody ever looks that close at a scale model though. I agree with your assessment of the Delta though. Gorgeous
