Welcome Moreno and Andy as always, pull up a couple of seats. @Moreno, the Ammo Mig paint doesn't seem to dry as quickly on the tip of the airbrush compared to Vallejo model Air. It definitely doesn't need any thinners! 👍

@Guy: I agree with you! I have the kit for the late Regia Aeronautica and I find it very easy to apply. I tested the paint also with a brush and the finish was more than acceptable 👍🏻

I have now decided this is completed. It was an attempt to do camouflage freehand with an airbrush. Not very successful and in addition I was using paint that I wasn't used to. However, it has been a good learning experience. 🙂

The aircraft subject was that flown by Lt K Bursztyn in 1940 during the Battle of France.

Born 21 January 1910 at Myslenice, Kraków, Polish pilot Lieutenant Kazimierz Bursztyn, during the war with Germany in Poland, fought with the Deblin fighter group. He was captured by Soviet troops on Sep 19 1939, but managed to escape to France via Romania.
Flying a Morane Saulnier 406 of the III/1 Fighter Group, he was killed in combat with German Bf 109 fighters over German lines near Cambrai, France on 25 May 1940. His aircraft went into a spin and crashed.
