WIP P-39
Gloss Black as a primer this time. I'm going to do the aluminum pre-coating and use the chipping effects
Using Quinta details for the first time. They are soft when applying, but very fragile after, have to be more careful next time
Preshading with khaki drab
Highlighted the olive drab with some buff to compensate for the dark wash. Did the chipping and sealed with Future
Decal time
So....I've got a tailsitter here. Even 3 lead beans didn't help, have to admit this has been quite unexpected

Igor ZhuravlevNow I'll have to do a vignette and glue the front gear. Not that I'm a big vignette master, much less a figure painter

DoubtingmangoExcellent finish! The tail sitting got me too. I just added a little ball of ticky-tack to the front wheel and it keeps it standing up on its display table.
