Discovered some old photos. Modelling as a kid in 8-90s.

Album image #1
Oct. 1988.
Look like 1:48 Academy F-15 kit.

Album image #2
Dec. 1988.
1:72 Academy U-2 kit.

Album image #3
Jan. 1989.
Some sort of prop fighter. Academy kit.

You can see the awful bundled bond right beside the scissors.
(But if you know how to use it, it worked. And you can do surprisingly well with scissors. Hah)

Album image #4
ca 1995.
1:48 Academy Mig-29 kit.

Rare fully painted kit. I remember this being almost the last kit I built as a kid.

Album image #5
1998.

I remember helping my sister build one for her school project.
Looks like 1:48 Academy F-14 kit.

Album info

I've uncovered some photos from my childhood days spent building model kits.
Before digital cameras it took time and money to take photo so there are almost no pictures of my finished models unfortunately.

All kits were Academy because they were cheap and easy to get. (it being domestic brand.)

Most of the time they were just assembled, paint being expensive for a kid.
(They cost something like $2 back then for a small enamel bottle. It still costs something like $2.5 so it was so expensive back then.)

Used bundled bond mostly and used nail clippers for removing studs.
Later my dad got me a cheapo side cutter. I still have it and use it for rough jobs.
