Kübelwagen comparison

I have a few Kübels in my stash and I thought it would be fun to see how they compare against each other:
- Arii (1/76): total crap and I won't even bother to build it;
- Nitto/Fujimi (1/76): it does look quite cute, though not entirely correct in the windscreen section;
- Italeri:
- Hasegawa:

I noticed I had some different Kübelwagens in my stash, so I thought it would be a fun idea to build them all together and see the differences, the + and - of each. Of course, the Nitto and Arii are the odd ones out, because they are 1:76.
So far, I think the Arii is the worst one with hardly any detail. The other ones all have their good points but also weaknesses.
On a side not, the BMW from Arii actually looks good enough to be used somewhere in the background of a diorama; unfortunately they've moulded the driver on. He looks horrible, with short-shot arms and a weird square bulge on his waist. I hope it will be possible and not too difficult to remove him...

Thanks Stefan. I'm not sure when I'll start this project, for now it is still an idea. But of course I'll post pics here when I start.

Well, so far I've started the Nitto and the Arii one...I did not even try to assemble the Arii, as it would have been a waste of glue and paint; this thing is total crap. It may have a slight likeness to a Kubelwagen if you close your eyes and stick thumbthacks in them, but there's no detail whatsoever. Utterly useless.
The Nitto on the other hand is actually quite nice, though not perfect. The shape of the windscreen is wrong for example and some other small things aren't quite what they should be, but overall it does the job. Pics to follow soon...

First one is finished...well actually the first one I tried was the Arii, but I binned that immediately. Total crap, very basic shape and hardly any detail. So the first one finished is the Nitto. Quite nice build, and a cute little car.
