D.H. 106 Comet 4C: Mexicana

Modified the Airfix Comet 4B into 4C by adding plasticard wingtip extensions & wingtip fuel tanks using 1/72 Hasegawa F-4E (JS-085) travel pods. My first attempt at using buffing metalizer paint. So-so finish when covered with clear lacquer. I used either ATP Caravelle or CV-990 windshield trimmed for the Comet. Used ATP F-28/VC10 oval windows turned sideways. Still one of my favorites.
