I built this kit many (many!) years ago. Mine was moulded in a translucent yellow, and the interior colour was visible from outside. If I recall correctly, the interplane struts were fragile and I broke me getting them off the sprue...
Still, a good model of a great plane.

Was it Revell's you built? I'll try to be careful with these parts 🙂 To be honest one of the reasons why I chose to build Kaydet is because of the original yellow color in which it looks just too cool! Also, it's got low difficulty level so it's perfect for me as a beginner.
