Bulgarian WWII Armored Car Horch M.222(Sd.Kfz.222)

Fgst. 8110951 was one of the 12 Sd.Kfz.222 armored cars delivered to Bulgarian Royal Army in 1943.A late 5th series production vehicle, it was given Bulgarian military registration number B 70016.Serving with the Armored Recce Car Company of the Armored Brigade, B 70016 took part in the battles in Yugoslavia(1944) and Hungary(1945), where the picture was taken(side note: this is a staged picture- Sd.Kfz.222 crews were instructed to close the armored engine hatches when enemy contact is expected).
The inscription on the turret(s. Belo Pole) was painted for the participation in the parade, held on December 2nd 1944 in Sofia.
