1963 Chevy Nova SS Convertible

For a long time in my stash, I finally decided to build this kit. It's very well detailed, includes photo etch parts, but NO decals! It would be a great addition, if there would be also a closed soft top! Tiny photo etched hood hinges but only basic plastic attachments as trunk hinges. Pro's: exact scale dimensions, detailed six-cylinder engine (26 parts!), detailed interior, unusual wheel assembly which looks finally perfect and well detailed with thin white walls, chassis and suspensions well rendered, exact and very well-designed instructions. The tiny PE-scripts and emblems are perfect, but tricky to handle. Con's: interior only detailed until rear seat bench, behind and opened trunk interior seem to not be finished (if you want to show the trunk interior, you'll have to scratch build it.). The trunk hinges to open it, would need a lot of adaption, so I decided to let it closed. The front of the hood does not fit very well with the grille and headlights. The chrome side trim comes in three pieces but doesn't match the panel lines.
