To fix a major boneheaded mistake with the AH-6 Stealth, I just ordered two of these kits. I am going to convert these into a pair of 160th SOAR Little Birds via two CMK resin conversions. For those of you doing a similar conversion, DON'T use the AH-6 Stealth from Academy, the canopy is a horrible gold(ish) color. This kit and any of the other kits from this line will work with the CMK conversion and you will have a proper canopy as well.

My mistake was removing the doors, I accidentally took off too much "door" on the starboard side. Only there was no door to remove! Like I said, boneheaded mistake! These were supposed to be my first models in more than thirty years. Having messed up the one, I then learned that these other normal kits work with the conversion, so I think it was fate. Now I will build out the "stealth" birds as a testing kit only. I have a lot to learn, and since these kits are cheap, it makes a good kit to practice on.
