Michael KohlI am very disappointed by this product. Yes it is finer than the kit parts but it is far from clear. The suppose to be transparent areas are almost opaque and show heavy print lines. To achieve an improvement over the kits parts you will need to cut out the frame and put clear foil into it. This will be a major endeavour due the the fragility of the frame.
Not recommended.

TreehuggerAha. This type of vehicle was recently included in Squad multiplayer. Typically known as a Bradley, but the M7A3 not having that annoying missile launcher on it.
I hope the tracks, if being track links, are better than with the Bradley kit made by Panda Hobby.
Update: Hrm, nope. Looks like the track links are sort of faked, looking the same as Panda Hobby ones.

BozzerSorry to chip in, MS, but this may help you in the future.
When you remove the chrome, there's a residue underneath. That's sometimes, the reason why there's imperfections in the chrome. The residue is some form of clear coat, that's used before the chrome? That can be removed by soaking in brake fluid, for a while. I've had this issue, mainly with Revell chrome, and it doesn't look great. Sometimes, there's a huge blob, and they just chrome over it. Quality control, needs a kick up the butt, at the factory.

MS K@Matteo Pescarin - There are printers that can use white custom toner. However, it is not as opaque as the commercial decals, so it honestly falls below my expectations.
What I use is ghost white toner.
At first, I planned to buy an Alps printer, but I had no choice but to give up because it only supported Windows XP.

The pictures were taken 65 kilometres away from the airfield of the "Bayerische Militärfliegerschule 5" in Gersthofen - the place where the original photo was taken.

gorbyDefinitely Kesa, there is a whole range of aftermarket conversions you can buy or if you are feeling adventurous, some conversions are reasonably easy to scratch build yourself. I have a couple of drawers full of plastic sheet of various thickness and plastic and metal rods, tubes, strips etc. I once saw a fantastic large scale scratch build of a B17 build that used the plastic from yogurt pots as the skin.

You could be right David. In the photo the load isn't attached to the crane hook but a hoop on the jib, as you say, probably using a hand winch. I have three photos of the back of various versions of this vehicle and none of them shows anything which might be used to control the crane, so obviously I can't add what I don't see. Zbynek HonzikAfter a long time I got into modelling and so managed to move a number of things forward. Now I have to let the putty cure properly on the transition between the pylon and the engine. And then the careful sanding and cleaning and final painting of the pylon and engine will begin.

Michael KohlI am impressed by how clean and evenly you cut out the windows. Which material did you use to cover the windows before pouring the resin. I use regular Cello tape but the resin dissolves the glue and this sticks to the windows.

Zbynek Honzik@Łukasz - I use either "little lenses" that I bought years ago at www.morellingtool.co.uk or nail glitter that I bought at a bead store.
I seal the headlight area first, then spray paint it matt black and glue the lights (glitter) in the appropriate places.
Then I sealed everything with transparent resin. After the resin hardened, I sanded everything to the shape of the leading edge of the wing and then polished.

Zbynek Honzik@ Michael - I use an electrical tape that I bought on e-bay. I got a reference for it on YouTube here: Youtube Video
It's High Temperature Resistant Kapton Tape. The packaging says it is "Advanced Polymer Tape" and is characterized as "Clean Removal". And the adhesive doesn't really stick to the resin.

Zbynek HonzikIn between letting the putty cure in the transition between the pylon and the engine, I started speculating how to improve the cockpit window frame.
In the end, Authentic Airliner Decals were used. I really like the way the authentic metallic finish looks on the decal, plus they depict the rivets and the thin black line showing the insulation between the glass and the frame. I had to cut the decal because the dimensions are a little different on the model, but I really like it. So I ordered another set. The windshield is wider, so one set was not enough for me.
On the photo you can see where the original frame is sprayed with Alclad and where the decal is.
