Tornado GR1 Mig Eater - Work in progress
Filled the wing gap with a small piece of styrene, the wings will be in open position in the end.
Fuselage glued together
Seams filled with Mr Surfacer 500, minor sanding left before priming.
Primed with Vallejo black

Canopy masked and cockpit painted medium gray. Will add some detaild to the cockpit before closing it for hull painting.
Decals applied, not a perfect fit in the belly but I can live with it. The weathering will take care of the minor gap.

Marbeling done, next question is what the top-coat should be... Initially I was planning to go Medium Gray, buy black would also look sleek. And why not buff?

Top-coated with a mix of 2 parts XF-59 (Desert Yellow) and 1 part XF-57 (Buff). The outcome is pretty close to the Desert Storm color I was seeking.
Masking and painting the nose tomorrow followed by some gloss and decals.

Some weathering applied, arment still to be painted and attached, some kind of base and stand vonfiguratin to be figured out, then it's pretty much done.
