Doing multiple iterlations of test fit. This kit has well tought design but tooling is not the state of art for late 2010s. 

these little gaps sums up to larger problem. 

cranked contact point is here, but does not match out of the box.  

control panel is too wide for hood parts. 

canopy has debri inside. 

contact is too tight here. need filing. 

you need to cut thin strip in left circle to insert body part through door hidges in right circle.. 

this area will be covered by square part, so cuttting here should not be a problem. 

At test fit stages, I recommend to run through steps 1 to 35 in reverse order to understand design goal for the body, and then jump to
later steps for main landing gears.There you need proper alignment of lattice in the gear box, otherwise legs will not go into the places.
