Album info
This kit I purchased in 2007 when it was brought back out to production as the 50th anniversary in 1/12 scale. 1957 Chevy Belair. I started the kit immeidiatley after purchasing it. I did not want it stock I wanted a Hot Rod look. I painted it a light egg shell blue, when I ran out of paint I moved from wisconsin to texas. When I pulled it back out to work on it I was unable to find that blue so I had to start over lots of sanding but worth it cause this is what I came up with. The only thing left is wheels and tires and I have yet to find the perfect ones. I refused to use the ones the kit provided, so here it sits. It has been a fun crazy build and I cannot wait to display it finished one day i suppose!
