Martlet folded wings

I Added some seatbelts and drilled out some holes on the wings for extra detail. But most of the build will be out of the box. 

Cockpit detail is good But I didn't have much luck with the decals. I also don't really like the way they look. 

Consctruction and fit is good. I like the way they designed the landing gear because those are complex but very strong in the end. 

Masking the canopy is easy with the canopy frames designed this way. the fit of the fuselase halves is good but I do need some filler on the underside. 

Some filler is need neer the landing gear part. I did add a gunsight from clear plastic. The engine is also fitted.  

almost ready for paint. Masking the landinggear is not easy I hope this works. 

I finished the prop and exhaust. I will add these later.  

I primed all parts black and pre shaded everything with white. I also pained the chromate green parts before the main colours. 

Very happy with the scheme and decals. I camo is sprayed freehand. I did use blu-tac as masking for the sky grey and upper scheme. 

I used tamiya brown wash for the sky grey and Ammo green brown for the upper parts of the camo scheme. 

I added some chipping with chromate yellow and alluminium paint by brush. 

I added some smoke and dirt effects with the airbrush. After that I removed the canopy masking and added the folded wings. These were easy to attach but very nice that airfix gives this option at a low price. 

I added a antenna and some wires at the wing joints. I did paint these black later. This means that all paices are added and I'm happy with the result.
