Andy TaylorI'm sorry to hear you had such a bad experience with this kit, but for balance, I've had none of the issues you mention. In fact it is going together beautifully. The instructions seem as clear as most to me and the roof of the landing gear bay fits perfectly well without removing those tabs, as long as you install it before the wing brace (as hinted in the instructions). I've also found the engine nacelles to fit very well indeed. I don't understand how you ended up with such large gaps as mine just dropped into place with no gap at all. Maybe you had a rogue kit, I don't know, but I'm really enjoying this build and would recommend it to anybody.

In addition to the problems I have already raised, why didn't you mention the misalignment of the details after the upper and lower parts of the fuselage were installed? Do you dare to say that you didn't encounter it? There is also the problem of the hardness of the plastic. I don't believe that there was no breakage when you took the parts. You said you didn't encounter my problem? Can there be two sets of molds for a model? How can you recommend that fuselage detail to others? How can you say such irresponsible things? ! HK model's B17 and Lancaster are much better than this. This model can only match Tamiya's Type 1 land attack.

It's so bad to make this model, I personally don't recommend buying this model, and it is recommended to refer to the video of the modeling demonstration of this model released by ICM during the production process, because the manual is very rough! The details need to be guessed for yourself. The plastic used in this model is very soft, the slender parts are easy to break, and the aero engine fairing part of the tolerance is very large, there is no way to install it normally, use super glue and press it by hand for ten minutes before it can be forcibly installed, and it needs to be sanded and filled in the gaps, I don't understand why the place where the landing gear is connected can actually open an extra pile position, and it can't be installed without grinding it off. In short, the experience of this model is really very speechless, it is hard to imagine that this is a new model produced in 2024, absolutely don't buy it!
